Hello world,
the second to last month of the year has officially started which means it's once again time for me to look back at the previous month and talk about the products I loved and used the most. As half of my month consisted of traveling, for work and for a mini holiday at home in Germany, my list of favourite products for October 2018 is short, but sweet!
Maison Margiela Replica Perfume "Lazy Sunday Morning"
This perfume was a duty free find whilst I was killing some time at Heathrow waiting for my flight to Germany. I was drawn in by the concept of perfumes created to reproduce familiar scent or moments and smelt my way through the whole range. The tester for "Lazy Sunday Morning" was one of the last bottles I picked up but as soon as I sprayed it, I immediately fell in love. It's fragrance reminds me of the scent of laundry that was washed with expensive detergent and now is hung up to dry in the warm summer air. I've received lots of compliments whilst wearing it and I really enjoy that while it's a very classy and wearable fragrance and thus suited for everyday use, it's also strong enough to wear as a "statement perfume" for a special occasion. A definite new staple in my fragrance collection!
Lush "Little Pot of Energy" Naked Body Lotion
I think the state of this body lotion speaks volumes about how much I've loved to use it in the past month. It has a lovely grapefruit scent which is beautifully uplifting and made me want to pick it up at really any time of the day to make sure my skin stays hydrated despite the change in weather and the colder temperatures outside. I also really love that it's naked because this format makes it almost impossible to use too much product - something that happens to me fairly frequently with liquid lotions. And of course it also doesn't create any plastic waste, which is always a plus when it comes to cosmetics!
May x
